It was just over 3 years ago that I arrived back to Anacortes to step foot on our newly acquired Nordhavn 40, freshly renamed "Enfin" to get her ready for our big retirement adventure.
It was 2 years ago we spent Canada Day in a delightful anchorage in Canada, big smiles on our faces as we enjoyed our new life.
It was just under a year ago we returned back to Enfin having achieved my first remission, and everything felt back to normal again, if only for a few months.
In less than 2 weeks I'm hoping to get the Doctor's confirmation that my recently achieved remission is holding and that we can plan time back on Enfin.
The last 3 years haven't always been easy, but one thing Di and I are real happy about is to have bought Enfin, to have dared to begin to live our dream.
So many more years to look forward to...
